Fiberglass Film

In Fiberglass reinforced thermal conductive materials, the main function of fiberglass cloth is to enhance the material's tensile strength, voltage resistance, and toughness, rather than improving thermal conductivity. It enhances the mechanical properties of the material, making it more durable, more capable of withstanding high temperatures and pressure, and able to meet appearance requirements for specific applications. The addition of glass fiber does not affect the thermal conductivity of the thermal silicone itself. Its main characteristics include:

  • High thermal conductivity: Effectively conducts heat, reducing thermal resistance between components and heat sinks.
  • High insulation: Prevents electrical leakage and breakdown, ensuring electrical safety.
  • High strength: Glass fiber reinforces the structural strength and durability of the material, making it less prone to cracking.
  • Heat resistance: Can withstand relatively high operating temperatures.
  • Good adhesion: Smooth and flat surface, easily adheres to device surfaces of various materials.
